Beyond troubling. It is inexplicable that this "information about information" was not forthrightly presented. Even if the primary focus was otherwise, this critical and central-to-events information could have and should have been identified (perhaps suggesting a second investigation formed to examine this deeply troubling evidence) within the overall report. This casts a shadow over an otherwise, apparently, detailed and complete investigative task force. Why would this information or this person be protected in some way? This is sad and sobering.
